NDW Project Management

NDW privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how NDW Project Management handles information for MySportClock and when you contact us for support or privacy enquiries. MySportClock’s clocks and team choices stay on your device.

Who we are

NDW Project Management (Pty) Ltd is a South African private company (registration 2025/613451/07), based in Somerset West, South Africa. We provide MySportClock. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean NDW Project Management (Pty) Ltd.

This policy covers the current MySportClock app, including its TestFlight beta, and support or privacy enquiries sent to us. All references to “the app” mean MySportClock. The app disclosures below do not describe our other products or the processing of information when you browse our company website. Contact us at n@ndwprojects.co.za.

MySportClock: information kept on your device

MySportClock stores your followed sports and teams, their order, the last clock you viewed, cached fixtures and team details, and notices about retired teams on your device. It also stores your Live Activity settings, consent choices and activity scheduling state. This lets the app remember your choices, work with saved fixtures and show countdowns.

The app uses your device’s time zone to display match times. It shares the information needed for widgets and Live Activities with its own iOS extension on the same device. Team choices and these settings are not uploaded to a personal account or synced to our servers. Device backups may include app data, depending on your Apple or device backup settings.

MySportClock: fixture updates and service logs

The app connects to our Supabase-hosted service over HTTPS to download public team and fixture information, including during background refresh when your device permits it. These requests use an app-level public access key, not a personal login, and do not include your followed-team list.

Providing an internet service involves processing technical information such as your IP address, request time and path, response status, and client or device information sent with a request. Our hosting providers may retain this information in operational and security logs. It is used to deliver the service, diagnose faults and protect it against abuse.

MySportClock: accounts, advertising and payments

The current app does not offer account registration or Apple or Google sign-in, and does not sync a personal profile to the cloud. It has no in-app purchases or subscriptions and does not collect payment details.

We have not integrated advertising, advertising identifiers, behavioural analytics or a third-party crash-reporting SDK into the current app. We do not sell personal information handled for MySportClock or use it to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Apple’s TestFlight and platform diagnostics are described below.

MySportClock: widgets, Live Activities and device access

Widgets and Live Activities can show your chosen teams and match details on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, where other people with access to your screen may see them. You can remove widgets and turn off Live Activities in the app’s Settings or in iOS settings.

The current app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, precise location or health data. Background refresh downloads fixture information; it does not track your location. MySportClock does not register you for server-sent push notifications.

MySportClock: TestFlight and Apple diagnostics

If you install a MySportClock beta through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and beta usage information and shares information with us as the developer. This can include device and operating-system details, app version, installation and session counts, and crash information. If you were invited by email, we may also receive your name and email address; these are not shown to us when you join only through a public invitation link.

If you send TestFlight feedback, we receive the comments, screenshots and associated diagnostic information you choose to provide through Apple. We use beta information to manage testing, investigate problems and improve MySportClock. We do not share TestFlight information with third parties.

Apple separately controls its platform diagnostics and retention. Read TestFlight & Privacy and manage Apple-held information at Apple’s Data and Privacy page. For App Store versions of MySportClock, Apple may make crash or diagnostic information available according to your device privacy settings and Apple’s policies.

When you contact us

If you email us for support or a privacy enquiry, we receive your email address, any name supplied with the message, and the message and attachments you send. We use this information to answer your enquiry, troubleshoot problems and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Our company email is hosted by Google Workspace. Our service providers process information to operate the services we use. They may process it in countries outside South Africa. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. The restriction on sharing TestFlight information described above still applies.

Retention and deletion

MySportClock’s local preferences remain on your device until changed or the app’s data is removed. Cached fixture and team information is replaced when refreshed. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its ordinary local app data; copies in device backups are managed through your backup settings. Remove widgets and disable Live Activities if you no longer want their information displayed.

We keep support correspondence and privacy-request records only as long as needed to resolve the matter and meet applicable legal obligations. Any diagnostic or beta-feedback copies we retain outside Apple’s systems are kept only as long as needed to investigate the issue and verify a fix. MySportClock service logs are retained according to the provider’s configured retention periods. Apple controls retention within TestFlight and its other services.

There is no MySportClock account to delete in the current app. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information held by us, email n@ndwprojects.co.za. We may need information to verify your request. We will explain any information we must retain for legal reasons or cannot identify in unlinked service logs. We cannot directly remove information held independently by Apple or from your device backups.

Your choices and rights

In MySportClock, you can change followed teams, disable Live Activities, remove widgets, and manage background refresh and backup settings on your device. You can stop using the app at any time. Where applicable law provides, you may request access to or correction or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Contact us using the address above. You may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority, including South Africa’s Information Regulator.

Security and changes to this policy

MySportClock uses HTTPS for fixture requests and we limit its backend access to public fixture and team data. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

We will update this page when our information practices change and revise the date on this page. If a future version of MySportClock introduces accounts, cloud sync, purchases or other data uses, we will update the policy and provide any notice or consent required before those changes apply.
